2007 Employee of the Year Don McCallum
This year’s Employee of the Year was awarded to Don McCallum, our Regional Manager in Charlotte, NC. Don has been with THC for over 9 years and has been responsible for uncovering several new projects in the North Carolina market while managing one of our oldest clients: Charlotte Douglas International Airport. His steady leadership of the Charlotte office staff, excellent knowledge of the Uniform Relocation Act and strong interest in finding new projects has earned Don Employee of the Year honors. The crystal engraved award given to Don says it best:
“In recognition of your outstanding dedication to programs at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Mecklenburg County Storm Water Services, continued pursuit for new projects and sincere attention to managing your office staff, THC, Inc. would like to thank you for “doing whatever it takes” to be an exceptional employee. You have truly made a difference in the continued success of this company.”
In addition to the crystal award, Don received a $150 gift card to Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House and $700 to Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Congratulations, Don!

At the end of the year, the THC Directors review the performance of each employee nominated for the Employee of the Year Award and votes are cast for the most deserving individual. The selected recipient is invited to attend the THC Corporate Christmas Party in Atlanta and receives a beautiful crystal award recognizing their contribution to the company’s success. In addition, gift cards for dinner, spa and shopping are awarded to the annual winner.
New Project
THC was recently selected by Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (H-JAIA) to manage their Noise Insulation Program. The world’s busiest airport chose THC based on the unique approach and experience THC staff will bring to the program that has been managed by the airport staff since 1984. Work is expected to begin this fall.
The turn-key Noise Insulation Program will involve the acoustical modification of single family homes, multi-family structures, schools, churches and public buildings over a five year period.
New Employees
The backbone of THC’s long term success is the quality of personnel we hire to manage and implement our projects. Welcome aboard to our newest employees around the country!
